In the midst of life’s most challenging moments, I discovered my deepest purpose. When my son was diagnosed with cancer, our world changed overnight. Between hospital visits, treatments, and the unknown, I found solace in something extraordinary - the unwavering support of a community that surrounded us with love and care.
It was during this time that the seeds of Village to Village Doulas were planted. The doulas who stood by my side, offering guidance, reassurance, and strength, became my inspiration. I realized that no family should have to navigate pregnancy, birth, or postpartum alone.
Village to Village Doulas was born out of this belief - that every parent deserves a village. Whether it’s through birth support, postpartum care, or simply being a steady hand to hold, we are here to uplift families, just as I was uplifted during my darkest days.
Every birth we support, every sleepless night we ease, and every family we empower is a tribute to the resilience of my son, the strength of my family, and the power of community. Through Village to Village Doulas, I have turned pain into purpose, ensuring that no parent ever feels alone on their journey.
